WHAT MOVES THE PRICE
So you know what we'll be asking about, and why two builds that sound similar can carry very different prices.
How much there is
Five pages or five hundred. A catalogue of twelve products and one of two thousand are different jobs, and the second one is mostly about how people search and filter it.
Whether it takes money
A site that takes enquiries is simpler than one that takes payments, handles stock and sends orders somewhere.
What it connects to
If the site has to talk to your existing systems — stock, accounts, a dealer portal — that's real work and we'll say so up front.
Who writes it
If you have the words and the photographs, it's quicker. If you'd rather we wrote and shot it, that's part of the quote.
ON MONEY
Why aren't there figures on this page?
Because a number without knowing your business would either be so low it's misleading or so high it scares off work we'd happily take. You'll have both real figures after one conversation.
What does the monthly charge cover?
Hosting, your secure certificate, backups, monitoring so we know if it goes down, security updates, and small changes as you need them. It also covers keeping your Google listing current and having someone to call when something's wrong.
So we don't pay for hosting separately?
No. Hosting is inside the monthly charge — you won't get a bill from a hosting company, and you won't have to deal with one when there's a problem. The domain is the one thing that stays in your own name, which is how it should be.
How long are we tied in for?
You're not. The monthly is month to month. If you ever want to stop, tell us and we'll hand the site over properly.
Do we own it?
Yes. The site, the domain, the accounts and the content are yours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can, and we'll help you do it rather than making it difficult.
What if it goes over?
The price is the price. If the scope changes because you've asked for something new, we'll quote that separately before doing it — you'll never get an invoice you weren't expecting.
